Special Collections and University Archives (SC/UA) at the Rutgers University Libraries holds significant collections, both printed and manuscript, documenting the history of the temperance movement and prohibition in New Jersey and nationally. These range from children's chapbooks containing warnings to juveniles about the evils of liquor, to the proceedings of large organizations dedicated to ending liquor consumption altogether.Published
