In this article, Shawcross edits a manuscript in the Rutgers University Library, entitled "Some Curious Particulars of the very learned and reverend John Donne" and dated 1821. The manuscript has antiquarian interest, historical value in a study of biography, and significance for a full awareness of Donne's reputation.Published
