Abstract

Clothier (1885–1970), president of Rutgers from 1932 to 1951, writes. "It is gratifying to welcome this first issue of The Journal of the Rutgers University Library. Through the Journal we shall come to know our Library better. We shall "discover" the real treasures it holds. We shall understand better the great opportunities which lie before us."
